Sketch Design to execution of a unique earth sheltered private residence with an organic layout, incorporating two fabric structures with a total are of 760m2 for partial roofing, with the remaining under landscaped gardens. Very first application of fabric roof for a residence.

Concept Design of another earth sheltered high spec. residence with partial tensile roof. The construction area of approximately 8,000.00m2. Design started in 2011 spring with site visits and completed with the coordination of all consultant in 2013 October. The project is temporarily on hold before the review and development of design and construction package.

Design and tender package for a family home, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Construction area 2,800m2 and construction cost US$6 million.

 

Equine Center, Competition, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - 1982

CLIENT: MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND WATER

Designer & Team Leader for Idea International.

 

The scheme used extensive fabric structure for shading (approx. floor area of 500,000m2) re-interpreting the traditional Bedouin tents. Land area 675 hectares, construction area 20,000m2.
